Philippians 4:9 (NIV) - Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Good morning, when I tell you I feel like preaching this morning. God is so awesome and he reveals himself to us if we would just pay attention. Nevertheless, what has this pandemic taught you? If fact, did you even think about learning anything? Was your focus on what you didn't have or what you couldn't get? Please, if you have not taken out the time to see what have you learned at least take this day to turn your focus toward 2 Corinthians 13:5- Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. We must learn in order to be tested.
Here we are as believers and active participants of the hearing of the Word let us practice that which we have learned. Now is the time for us to walk the walk that which we have been taught. During this pandemic, we should be a better version believer. What do you mean? Well, we should have learned how to be more gentle. Gentleness should be showed to all not just a select group. During this time we should have leaned not to get anxious, but know thru prayer and supplication that God can't and won't fail us. We should have learned during this time to love our neighbors as ourselves. These are just a few things we should have learned? What have you learned? Did you learn forgiveness? Walk in it. Did you learn trust? Walk in it. Did you learn how to truly love? Walk in it. Whatever you have learned put it into practice. If you haven't learned anything, I ask you to examine yourself? One day your test will and shall come, find yourself passing the test. Choose today to learn.
Be encourage and to God be the Glory.
