Meet Pastor
Joc'Quelyn E. Carter
Pastor Joc’Quelyn E. Carter, a native of Andalusia, Alabama and is known for her ministry to women, children and families. She has been serving in ministry 28 years. Her heart for God’s people and being obedient to the Word of God, led her to start Shepherd House Ministries which focuses on outreach efforts. She is currently a member of Tabernacle Praise Church International where she serves in the missions.
Pastor Carter was ordained an itinerant deacon in the Sixth Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in May of 2003, where she faithfully served as the YPD director, Youth Pastor, Pastor’s Assistant, Sunday School teacher and the Food and Benevolent Minister at Knights Monumental AMEC for over ten years. She was ordained an Elder in October of 2011, under the leadership of Adulluam Ministries, where her outreach ministry, Shepherd House Ministries was affiliated. It has taken many years, but now the birth of J E Carter Ministries has been planted.
I believe God desires to use me to reach out with the good news of Christ to woman, young people and families helping them to experience meaningful relationships and knowing their identity. God desires to reach His people for salvation and maturity through discipleship and training that equips each person to reach out to others. God has entrusted Pastor Carter to build bridges in her community by implementing educational initiatives in elementary schools, training young people in government and co-hosting women conferences. Pastor Carter is a prophetic pastor on an evangelistic walk and is anointed as a preacher and didactic teacher.
She is married to James Carter and has a blended family of two sons and three daughters.

Just like Queen Esther, we help women understand their power, know their purpose and always have a plan. Pastor Carter packs and prays over each crown box herself. Our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need.
