Mark 4:37-39 (NKJV )- And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”. Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,[a] be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
This morning while watching the news, the meteorologist began to talk about a storm that was heading inland toward Miami, Florida and turning toward Alabama. The Lord said, "the storm that was stirring out in the ocean is symbolic to what is going on in the Earth". Victory has come over one storm, however, another storm is coming and we must continue to seek him before, during and after each storm. We cannot focus on the storm, but we must keep our eyes on Jesus who is our peace. We cannot focus on the rubbish, we have to focus on the reward. We cannot focus on the wind, we must focus on the wind maker. We cannot focus on the fear, we must focus on the peace. Storm, oh Storm, did you hear the Master? Wind oh wind, did you answer your call? Yet, the storm may come and the wind may blow, cleaving to Jesus Christ is our only way to go.
