Moving Forward

I just want to encourage you today and give you hope that can be found in God's recorded word. Isaiah 10:12 (KJV)..."Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks". The pandemic allows us to be partakers of the journey where God is performing his whole work. As a nation and as God's people, we are moving forward. One bibilical reference for "Zion" can found in Psalms 2:6 and 9:11. It specifically speaks about the Lord's holy mountain and where the Lord is "enthroned" (sitting and remain sitting). No matter what it looks like right now. God is moving forward with his plan. He is using whom he wants to accomplish his plan in this season and that will be as far as they can go. For this reason he gives the warning about the fruit of a stout heart, a heart full of pride and schemes of conquest and of blood. God says he will punish. So, as we awaken each day may we give God thanks as he moves forward with his plans to remain sitting in authority here on Earth.
