Independence Day

John 8:36 (AMP) - 36 So if the Son makes you free, then you are unquestionably free.

How many of you are truly celebrating the real independence day? I am not talking about a man-made holiday. I am talking about celebrating independence day every day with Jesus. The word declares that "whom the Son set free is free indeed". We often operate under a false pretense of freedom. What do I mean? Still we have become slaves or still enslave to many things. We are slaves to jobs, television, people, material possessions, food, drugs, alcohol, social media, our on thoughts and the list can go on and on. Can we today, just take a few moments to reflect on how we can get free and stay free in Jesus name. It's the first Sunday in July, so let's get free, so we can experience the fullness of what God has for us. Shout all aboard the freedom train. How do it get there? What must I do?

Give your life over to Christ if you haven't and if you have found yourself in a backslidden stage re-dedicate your life back to Christ. Put on your coat called new nature. Repent and change. Do better. Apply the scriptures to every situation to make sure it is His will and not your will. This new freedom allows you to not serve the death sentence that sin was trying to give you. The penalties were paid by the blood of Jesus the one who set you free. You don't have to keep looking back and rehearsing all the bad decisions and all the misrouted conversations that may have caused you to feel guilty and ashamed. It is finished. Those things are under the blood. Stop letting the past hinder your ability to move forward in Christ and the plans he has for your life. You are free. My God, let freedom ring today. I declare and decree today, that every chain, every stich of grave clothing, every strongman that has attached itself to your mind, body and soul desiring to prohibit your independence today that it be cut-off at the root and it will be sent back to the pits of hell from whence it came. Now, by the power, that God has given me, I declare and decree the release of the freedom to serve Jesus Christ, the one whom set you free from the beginning. This is my prayer of declaration today in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

This is my Happy Independence day. Listen to the song Freedom by Eddie James. Magnify the Lord in everyway by doing everything a little bit louder than before because you have "no more shackles, no more chains, no more bondage you are free".

Be bless. I love you,

Pastor Jai
