I will not be moved

Psalm 121:3-4 (NLT) - He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.

Psalm 121:3-4(ESV) - He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

I don't own the rights to this music.

All focus and attention for this upcoming week will be on the political races, especially the presidential race. No one can be certain of the end results come Tuesday and the final results may not be know until days later. Not just this issue, but we are faced with so many other issues in our lives that may seem uncertain. The uncertainty of these issues may leave us somewhat perplexed, anxious or insecure; however, Psalm 121:3-4 tells us exactly how God is handling our uncertain times. Be on the look out for things that will come before you this week to try to make you stumble. Recognize those stumbling blocks and be reassured God will not let us stumble. He is watching over you and me because he never slumbers or sleeps. We may get tired and weary, but God never gets tired. He is the keeper and watcher of our souls.

Prayer: Father, we thank you for being the watcher and keeper of our souls. No matter what comes up this week you have already made provisions for everything we need. God we shall be like Mount Zion, the place where you dwell and we shall not be moved. In Jesus Name, Amen.
