Head Toward Your Destiny

Luke 9:51 (NIV)- As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.

Today I would like to talk about heading toward your destiny. I mean fulfilling the very purpose God placed us here in this world. I love the fact that when Jesus knew the time was drawing near for him to fulfill his destiny he "set his face toward Jerusalem". How many of you have seen your destiny, but now you need to set your face toward Jerusalem? This is not an easy journey. Many things will happen or has happen once we are determined to fulfill our purpose. Let's talk about this path. First, we have to realize we may not be received by everyone or everywhere; therefore we must turn and go to the next person or next place. Don't get mad just get moving because our destiny is for a set Kairos/Kronos time. Secondly, we we must watch out for any person who will try to hinder our journey by having the wrong attitude or mindset. Don't get mad just get to rebuking because our destiny is for a set Kairos/Kronos time. Thirdly, we must realize there is a cost for us to fulfill our destiny. We must count the cost. We will have to let go of the things that does not allow us to follow Christ as we head toward our destiny. Our purpose is not about us, it is about us advancing the kingdom of God. Don't get discouraged just get inspired because our destiny is for a set Kairos/Kronos time. Surely, as we continue to follow Christ because we have set our face toward Jerusalem surely we will celebrate with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Go ahead and decide today to "Set your face toward Jerusalem" destiny awaits.
