Psalm 126: 1- 6(MSG) - It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang, we couldn’t believe our good fortune. We were the talk of the nations— “God was wonderful to them!” God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people. 4-6 And now, God, do it again— bring rains to our drought-stricken lives So those who planted their crops in despair will shout hurrahs at the harvest, So those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.
Good morning everyone, I heard the Lord say this morning "Do it Again". Somebody today needs to tell the Lord to "Do it again". Psalm 126 is referred to a "Pilgrim's Song". How ironic it is that God would give me this word right at the beginning of the Thanksgiving week. Let me just share with you the definition of a pilgrim. A pilgrim is defined as a person traveling to a holy place. Often this journey is seen as a physical one on foot, but today we are focused on the spiritual one that involves moving from anguish and despair to blessings and happiness.
My prayer for you today is that God bring rain to every area of your life where he has commanded you to plant. For God is the Lord of the Harvest and you will no longer have a drought-stricken life but, one filled with bountiful blessings in Jesus Name, Amen.
