Ezekiel 3:22 (NIV) - The hand of the LORD was on me there, and he said to me, "Get up and go out to the plain, and there I will speak to you.
Where is your "there place"? I'm talking about the place where God speaks to you. Do you find yourself getting there often or do you find yourself avoiding that place? The "there" place is where you allow yourself just to be plain. There is where you can have open and honest communication with God. Just like it states in the scripture "go out to the plain". When something is plain there is no bells or whistles. God is trying to get us to a place of solidarity, a place where there is no noise, a place where we are not consumed by the pictures painted by the media. He wants to get us to a place of rest, a place of long meditation and a place where he can whisper his divine orders for our lives. The enemy wants to keep whispering chaos from the river of Chebar, but God wants us to grab hold of the river of life (Jesus Christ). Everyday, strive to get there because there is where we can get a fresh view of the glory of God in our lives.
